Meritum Capital has a broad base of committed and skilled people. They combine a range of analytical and entrepreneurial skills as well as optimists and pessimists. Next to the board of directors Meritum Capital has established the investment council as an advisory board with independent external know-how.
Jan Meister is the founder and majority share holder of the company.
Prior to starting his own company he had co-founded the German IFA network Argentos. At Argentos he ran the investment research and also managed two multi asset fund of funds for more than six years. Jan Meister started his career in 1998 when he joined Deutsche Bank and worked within equities as a broker specializing on the technology sector in Frankfurt and London for nearly seven years. He holds a master in business administration
The Investment Council currently consists of four people. They combine more than 50 years of industry experience within credit and high yield, equity research (especially technology, healthcare and industrials) and cross asset research at major investment firms such as Deutsche Bank, HSBC and Credit Suisse. Besides capital markets intelligence there is also venture capital and entrepreneurial know-how represented in the investment council. The investment council can be enlarged any time for getting access to specific know-how within certain themes or sectors.
